I’m not going into this with any expectations other than to have a great adventure, but I figure while I am doing this, I might as well take the opportunity to try and make something more out of it. That is why I started Somewhere Outdoors.  This adventure can be seen as a very personal thing, and while I won’t deny that it is, I want to make it as useful for others as possible.

I imagine this website as a place for helpful tips¹, honest product reviews², and a good story.  Your comments, and even criticisms (let’s keep it constructive), are always welcome.  I look forward to learning a thing or two together.
