When camping in a group, a communal light can make a big difference. Beyond finding your way in the dark or illuminating your tent, people tent to gather around lanterns like they they do at fires. They are useful for performing any nightly duties, as well as social situations like playing cards.

Review

There really isn’t a lot to be said about any particular lantern, so I will keep this brief. I like this lantern a lot because it is small, durable, and bright. I have used this particular item many times, and I am happy with this purchase. When not in use, it collapses to a size that is small enough to include on a backpacking trip if I wished (I usually just take my headlamp in those circumstances, but as I said, these are great when camping in a group).
